PLANET had the honour of being a Grand Sponsor of the 7th Infrastructure & Transport Conference, which took place from 16th to 18th September 2024 at the Athens Concert Hall. The conference, now a key institution for the infrastructure and transport sectors, brought together more than 90 distinguished speakers and over 1,200 participants from the business community and public sector organisations.
During the conference, critical issues directly affecting the development of Greek infrastructure and transport were discussed, including new technological trends and major infrastructure projects currently underway. Participants had the opportunity to exchange views on growth prospects and analyse pivotal projects that are reshaping the infrastructure and transport landscape both in Greece and across Europe.
PLANET actively contributed to these discussions with the participation of two of our esteemed executives in the scheduled panels. Dimitris Katsohis, Head of Transport and Urban Planning, took part in a panel on fixed rail projects, while Kostas Calogirou, Head of the Enterprises Business Unit, spoke about new trends in the automotive industry and the crucial role of e-mobility.
