Challenge
The Greek Ministry of Digital Governance is responsible for unifying key IT and telecommunications structures to support digital services for citizens and public sector modernization. To enhance data-driven decision-making, the Ministry needed a centralized system that would:
- Integrate disparate data sources without requiring migration, allowing seamless data access and analysis.
- Support advanced analytics and machine learning models across multiple domains to uncover insights and drive policy decisions.
- Improve operational efficiency and transparency by facilitating real-time monitoring of critical indicators.
This ambitious initiative required careful planning, ensuring seamless interoperability, security, and compliance with national digital transformation policies.

Thematic Area 1: Design and support of the implementation of the Central Hub for Big Data Analytics core project.
Support in the specification of digital transformation policy directions; preparation of studies regarding specific priorities-objectives; development of action plans.
All data roads leading to one Hub; multiple Advanced Analytics to empower decision routes; our Team’s vision to enlight the landscape.
Thematic Area 2: Support in monitoring the implementation of interventions or projects.
It includes the establishment and operation of a Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee implementation, tracking project progress and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, providing quality assurance and risk management.
Thematic Area 3: Confirmation of the achievement of each core milestone and target.
It refers to audits carried out, to verify the achievement of project milestones and to ensure compliance with funding requirements to support payment requests
Results & Impact
Once completed, the project will have a far-reaching impact across multiple sectors:
- Social Structures & Services. Monitoring the quality of services provided to citizens, and identifying possible issues, will assist the improvement and upgrading of the Greek Public Administration’s structures and services, as well as the introduction of new and innovative services.
- Economy & Development. Focus on the strategic planning of Greece, and the information to external entities and institutions, which is linked to the country's credibility. It will be advanced, monitoring the economic performance of government processes, through appropriate KPIs, in areas such as e.g. international investments, Research & Innovation.
- Environment & Infrastructure. The assessment of environmental indicators and the analysis of public infrastructure, will aid the green transition target.
- Digital Transformation. Awareness of areas that require improvement interventions.
- Transparency in the Public Sector Functioning. Through the ability to cross-reference and combine of information.
The new Central Big Data Hub, supporting various Advanced Analytics use cases, will provide the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance and the Greek Public Sector, with compact studies, analyses, results and insights, to enhance support in strategic planning, information provision and decision making.
