Overview of the Project

The Independent Power Transmission Operator (known as ADMIE), a leading energy organisation, embarked on a digital transformation to modernise its operations and adapt to the evolving technological landscape. To support this transition, our consultancy was tasked with documenting and describing the organisation's various roles. These descriptions would serve as a foundation for the upcoming changes, reflecting the new expectations for roles in terms of scope of work, competencies, skills and goals.

Our aim was to ensure that each position within IPTO was clearly defined and that job responsibilities were aligned with the requirements of the organisation's new operating model. 

Our team worked closely with IPTO to capture the responsibilities, qualifications, and skills required for each role. The job descriptions not only outlined the core duties of each position but also identified the attributes of individuals best suited to fulfill these roles. This included the experience, skills, and knowledge required. 

The detailed job descriptions provided a solid foundation for IPTO’s digital transformation, ensuring that each role is clearly defined and aligned with the future needs of the organisation.

In addition, we ensured that all descriptions were structured for integration into SAP’s Success Factors (SF) specialized Job Profile Builder system which would streamline the management and assessment of roles within the digital transformation framework.

  • Clear alignment of job descriptions with IPTO’s digital transformation strategy.
  • Seamless integration of role descriptions into SAP’s Success Factors system for future updates and management.

This initiative laid the Foundation for IPTO’s successful digital transformation, ensuring that its workforce is equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly changing technological environment.
